Privacy Policy

When you use the calculator, we collect:

• Your answers to the calculator questions (for example, your trade, team size, charge-out rate, and how much time you spend on admin tasks), and the results we calculate from them.
• If you choose to request your full breakdown: your first name, email address, and optionally your mobile number and business name.
• Basic technical information, such as which questions were viewed and answered (recorded against a random session ID, not your name), and the website or campaign that referred you (for example, a link in an email).

You can use the calculator and see your results without giving us any contact details. We only collect your name and contact details if you choose to fill in the form.

We use your information to:

• Calculate and show your results.
• Send you your full breakdown, if you ask for it.
• Contact you about your results and how Ascendia Co. could help your business, including follow-up emails or calls. You agree to this when you tick the consent box.
• Understand how people use the calculator so we can improve it (for example, seeing which questions people drop off at).

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for any purpose unrelated to the above without your consent.

Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time by emailing info@ascendiaco.net, and we'll remove you promptly.

We use trusted service providers to run the calculator and manage enquiries, including:

• Our website hosting and database provider, which stores your answers and details.
• Our customer relationship management (CRM) and email platform (GoHighLevel), which we use to store your contact details and send you follow-up emails.

These providers only use your information to provide their services to us. We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Some of our service providers store data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to choose providers with appropriate security and privacy practices.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including using secure, access-controlled systems and encrypted connections. No online system is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law. If you'd like us to delete your details, email info@ascendiaco.net.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@ascendiaco.net. We'll respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.

The calculator temporarily saves your progress in your browser so you don't lose your answers if the page refreshes. This is cleared once you finish. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first at info@ascendiaco.net and we'll do our best to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
